Yves Lévy, President of Aviesan and CEO of Inserm, submitted a report by the Alliance to the French Government entitled Action Plan for the Organisation of Health Research Planning, on Wednesday 15 July.

Presented to Marisol Touraine, Minister of Social Affairs, Health and Women's Rights, Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, Minister of National Education, Higher Education and Research, and Thierry Mandon, Minister of State for Higher Education and Research, this report specifically proposes the implementation of a dedicated single window for health research by the French National Research Agency (ANR), including publication, schedules and application forms for various calls for proposals.

In response to a request formulated by the President of France on 3 April 2014, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Inserm, the government entrusted Aviesan with coordinating the preparation of an action plan for the organisation of health research planning. This plan was developed between May and December 2014, by a steering committee involving the relevant central divisions of the Ministries of Health and Research (DGS, DGOS, DGCS, DREES, DGRI), Aviesan and ANR, in collaboration with the French National Cancer Institute (INCa) and the French National Agency for Research on AIDS and Viral Hepatitis (ANRS).
