Conference of the GDR biosynsys

07

10

2015

Date: September 7-10, 2015 - University Paris Diderot, amphi Buffon, Paris

Synthetic Biology and Systems Biology comprise different topics and tools developed for the past thirty years. The current interest around these two disciplines comes from the fact that they emphasize a multidisciplinary view of biology, and constant interactions with other scientific disciplines (Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics).
The GDR 3699 "Synthetic and Systems Biology" created on 1 January 2015 will favor exchanges between all French teams working in these areas.

11th Jenner glycobiology and medicine symposium

20

04

2015

The Jenner glycobiology and medicine symposia were the first and main international multidisciplinary conferences set up to examine the relevance of glycobiology to immunology, medicine and clinical practice. The symposia, since 2001, have been organised by the Royal Society of Medicine with the aim to widen clinical participation and to actively promote and foster greater interaction and collaboration between glycobiologists and clinicians.

This meeting provides an international forum for scientists and clinicians to disseminate the findings of current leading edge research in both novel and classic fields of glycobiology and glycomedicine. This symposium is aimed at scientists and clinicians of all levels and all disciplines involved in the research and management of human disease.

Venue: National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) - Campus Gerard-Megie - 3 Rue Michel-Ange - Paris cedex 16
